Oxidation turns aluminum dull and chalky within a few salty seasons. Our multi-stage machine polishing removes it and brings aluminum and stainless steel back to a mirror finish. We work on owner-operator rigs, fleet tractors, dealership trucks and trailers.

Aluprotex Aluminum Protection vs. Polishing
Aluprotex (DXP) is a clear coating engineered for aluminum, designed to provide long-lasting, permanent aluminum protection. It is not a wax or a sealant. It bonds to the surface and is designed to hold the finish the aluminum had when it was applied, so washing is easier and repeated polishing is greatly reduced.
| Machine polishing | Aluprotex | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Removes oxidation and restores a mirror finish | Seals the aluminum with a clear protective coating |
| Best for | Dull, oxidized or neglected aluminum and stainless | Keeping polished or factory-new aluminum looking that way |
| Surfaces | Aluminum and stainless steel | Aluminum |
| Re-polishing | Part of a regular upkeep cycle | Designed to greatly reduce repeated polishing |
| Often combined? | Yes, polish first, then protect | Yes, or applied directly to new equipment |
Not sure which fits your equipment? Send photos and we will recommend polishing, Aluprotex or both. Ask for a quote.
Truck Polishing FAQs
What do you need from me to quote a truck polish?+
Send us clear photos of both sides of the truck, the rims, tanks, battery boxes, headache rack, fenders and any other aluminum or stainless you want done. We build the quote from the photos. All quantities and measurements are approximate until we inspect the truck at arrival, when final quantities are confirmed.
How often should a truck be polished?+
Most of our truck customers bring their trucks back once a year. How often your truck needs it depends on the routes it runs, road salt exposure and how often it is washed. Applying Aluprotex to the aluminum is designed to greatly reduce how often it needs re-polishing.
Can Aluprotex go on a brand-new trailer?+
Yes. Aluprotex can be applied directly to factory-new aluminum, so you do not need to polish first. It is designed to hold the finish the aluminum had when it was applied.
Does Aluprotex work on stainless steel and chrome?+
Aluprotex is engineered specifically for aluminum. Stainless steel and chrome parts are polished rather than coated, and we can quote them as part of the same job.
How far ahead do I need to book?+
In peak season expect roughly one to two weeks of lead time. In the off-season we can often fit trucks in the same week. Call (506) 830-3441 to check current availability.
Is a wash included?+
A wash is quoted as its own line item so you only pay for what the truck needs. Tell us when you ask for a quote.
