Aluprotex — Long-LastingAluminum Protection
Aluprotex (DXP) is a clear coat engineered specifically for aluminum, designed to provide long-lasting, permanent aluminum protection. Once applied, your aluminum is protected and stays looking polished, which greatly reduces the need for repeated polishing. Just wash and go.
It's not a wax or a sealant. It bonds to the aluminum surface and is designed to lock in the look the aluminum had when it was applied — freshly polished, factory-new, or lightly cleaned.
Have a brand new trailer you don't want to polish first? Spray Aluprotex directly. It is designed to hold that finish for the long term, giving you year-round gloss, easier washing, and far less polishing going forward.

Commercial Truck FAQs
How much does commercial truck polishing cost?+
It depends on how much aluminum and stainless steel is on the truck (rims, tanks, battery boxes, headache rack, fenders and trim) and what condition it is in. We build quotes from photos of your truck. All quantities and measurements in a truck quote are approximate, based on the photos provided before arrival, and final quantities are confirmed when we inspect the truck at the shop.
What is the difference between polishing and Aluprotex?+
Polishing restores the finish by removing oxidation from aluminum and stainless steel. Aluprotex (DXP) is a clear protective coating for aluminum that locks the finish in so it does not need to be re-polished on a regular cycle. Aluprotex can be applied over freshly polished aluminum, and new equipment can have it applied directly without polishing first.
Which parts of a truck and trailer can you polish?+
Rims and wheels, fuel tanks, battery and tool boxes, diamond and checker plate, headache racks, moose bumpers, steps, stainless fenders, stacks, fairings and other aluminum or stainless trim. If you are unsure about a specific part, send us a photo.
Do you clean the inside of trailers and sleeper cabs?+
Yes. We offer trailer interior wash-out and disinfection, and driver changeover cleaning to get a cab ready for the next driver.
Do you work with fleets and owner-operators outside Moncton?+

Can you undercoat my truck or trailer?+
Yes. We apply Corrosion Defence® to transport trucks and commercial equipment. Heavy trucks are quoted individually, so contact us with the unit type and we will give you a price.
